I am a Street Fighter fanatic (although not as hardcore as some) and have been playing the game ever since Street Fighter II invaded arcades and to the super nes. I have had many nights where I would get thumb blisters from trying to do the shoryuken consistently on my snes pad. In fact, that was originally one of the main reasons for me to hoodwink my pops into getting me the console. And now we finally get the next installment of Street Fighter coming in a week!

If you guys didn't know, I am an animator for the show Manga Minutes where I animate the two host, Rogue and Yoko. Manga Minutes is a bi-weekly 2-3 minute web show featured on [link] where they do reviews on anime, games, and manga. With the upcoming release of Street Fighter IV, my company had a chance to create a show doing a Street Fighter retrospective, talking about the many incarnations of the game along with the movies, anime, and comics associated with it. I'll upload some stills and a couple of swf files of Rogue and Yoko animated in their new Street Fighter outfits. I believe the show will air next week within the launch release of the game and movie.

I was stoked to get the chance to do a show about one of my favorite games. You'd think that would be the last of it, but no buddy! Not only that, I, along with other crew members were invited to attend the SF IV launch this Thursday and we would be on the Fast Track list, meaning no waiting in line! Oh Snaps! And it gets even better (well for me anyways), our Manga Minutes Street Fighter Edition would be played at the party on continuous loop. What that means is that I would get more exposure at a pretty big event showcasing my work!

Man, slowly yet surely I am getting my work out there and this next step will hopefully attract some eyes! I am so psyched! I wonder if anyone here at deviant art will be attending the gala?
